The purpose of this work is to display the constant yet never consistent ways in which these four subjects shape our lives. The simaltaneous ways in which these subjects affects us is explored in the simple yet beautiful format that is haiku. The haikus are written in English but follow the Japanese format of 5,7,5. This is the traditional format for haiku which is recognized worldwide as a means of expressing deep thoughts in a succint and powerful way.

These haikus conjoin thoughts that are at juxtapositoin with each other yet are directly related by definition.To the author, haiku remains a beautful art form. This peice of literature provides 4 astounding examples of the power of haiku and the direct nature with which it can impact us. Each piece of work took many months to create, the thought process of each completely independent but somehow related.

The process of writing haiku can only be described as an adventure through the process of thougth. This piece of work illustrates how haiku can be ever so powerful especially given the short amount of words needed to construct it.
